Here is Enough

About · Amanda Mae

You don't have to figure it all out alone.

Amanda makes space for the things people often carry quietly: fear, disappointment, shame, and the complicated work of trusting God again.

Her story

My interest in understanding people started long before I created Here Is Enough. I graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Youth, Adult, and Family Services and a minor in Psychology. But some of the most important things I've learned didn't happen in a classroom.

They came through years of chronic illness, anxiety, spiritual questioning, motherhood, and seasons when the things I once believed would bring me peace no longer seemed to help.

I know what it's like to desperately want to feel better, to love God but struggle to feel safe with Him, and to spend years searching for answers that never quite seemed to reach what was happening underneath it all.

Those experiences deepened my interest in psychology, attachment, nervous system regulation, and human behavior. I became especially interested in understanding why we think, feel, and react the way we do, and how our experiences can shape not only our relationship with ourselves and others, but also our relationship with God.

Over time, I began sharing what I was learning and experiencing through @honestlyamandamae. And I discovered just how many people were quietly carrying similar questions, fears, and struggles.

Why Here is Enough exists

Most of us know what we are supposed to think. What we lack, at 2 a.m., is somewhere to bring what we are actually feeling. Here is Enough is that somewhere: short teaching, small practices you can stop whenever you need, and a weekly Q&A where Amanda answers the questions members send her.

The name is the whole idea. You do not have to arrive fixed, or explain why today is hard. Here is enough. You are enough to begin with.

What this is

  • Faith for real life: honest about fear, shame, money, marriage, family, and the days God feels quiet.
  • Short teaching videos that name what is happening, usually under ten minutes.
  • Small practices you can stop whenever you need, and come back to.
  • A weekly Q&A, every Sunday night, answered by Amanda.

What this is not

  • Not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for professional care.
  • Not crisis support. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
  • Not a place where you have to perform, keep up, or have it together.

What members find here

  • A place to understand what you're experiencing and find practical ways to work through it, one step at a time.
  • The weekly Q&A with Amanda.
  • A quiet community for prayer and encouragement. Reading quietly is always welcome.
  • Member pricing on courses, and saved resources you can return to.
